Blake Studio is the multidisciplinary design practice of Sara Blake
Blake Studio crafts art, brands, and digital products, both as a professional design practice and as an experimental creative playground. One part art, one part commerce, always blending work and play, the studio divides its time across self-initiated projects, collaborations, and partnerships with companies in support of business needs.

Hi, I’m Sara Blake, and I’m an NYC-based artist and designer. Throughout my nearly two decades across art, design, advertising, and tech, I’ve worked with small, emerging brands as well as with large established teams—from mom-and-pop shops to household names like IBM, HP, and Nike. For over 5 years, I was part of the Havas IBM Studio, a multidisciplinary creative team integrated directly into IBM scrum teams. From 2015 — 2022, I served as a founding member of two VC-funded product and technology startups, leading design through their biggest and fastest growth phases. In a past life, I was an illustrator and somehow was invited to travel around the world to talk about my work. I can't count all the funny, smart, kind, and talented people I've met and collaborated with along the way.

I split my time between NYC's West Village and a secret woodland location where you are advised to please not feed the bears. When I’m not working with companies, you can find me drawing, painting, writing, taking pics and making silly haikus about NYC, or collaborating with my partner as Studio Nein.
